Please check your booking confirmation email for details about parking and locating the dance room when your arrive at the venue.
Which class is best if I have never danced before?
Beginner FloorWerk is a great starting point if you’re a first-time dancer and requires no prior experience!
We’ll learn a short, 30 second routine in this class so you can build confidence learning and remembering moves.
Can I join a mixed-level class if I'm a beginner?
Absolutely! FloorWerk Choreo is a mixed-level class including beginner-friendly variations for any challenging moves, empowering you to confidently simplify or enhance the choreography to match your skill level.
It is recommended you have some experience or are confident remembering choreo as we’ll learn a 1-minute routine.
Can I participate in a class if I'm not very flexible?
You sure can! Whilst mobility can definitely help achieve certain movements, modifications are always given so everyone can feel good and participate at their own level.

What To Bring
What should I wear to class?
Wear whatever makes you feel confident and sexy—whether that’s shorts and a crop, or fishnets and a strappy bodysuit!
We’ll sometimes have cheeky poses in the routines so choose something that you feel confident and secure to move around in.
Is there anything I need to bring with me?
For all classes, please bring with you:
- Kneepads
- Heels
- Water bottle
Am I required to wear heels?
Heels are optional if you’d like to try a class first without them, but please wear socks so your feet can slide.
As we sit on our feet a bit, heels are recommended to help protect the top of your feet. You are always welcome to start with a chunky ankle boot or even flat, enclosed shoes!
What heels are recommended for class?
There are a few types of heels suitable for classes:
- Regular street heels
- Dance heels
- Pole heels/boots
Mostly enclosed heels are recommended to protect tops of feet and toes when sliding in moves.
What kneepads are recommended?
A personal recommendation for long-lasting kneepads is to opt for ‘gel’ padding, as these don’t wear down over time like foam kneepads.
You can source dance kneepads at a few Brisbane stores or from a variety of online retailers, such as:
Phyical stores – Ditto Dancewear
Online stores – PolEssentials, Active Style Dancewear, Tatiana Active Wear
