No dance experience needed! Whether it’s a birthday celebration, a hens party, or just the girls getting together – this private group session is all about embracing confidence, feel-good vibes, and hyping up your besties.

What To Wear
& Expect.
FloorWerk is a fully floor-based dance class, so expect sexy crawls, “Magic Mike” style grinds, headrolls, and lots of feel-yourself moments. We’ll be on hands, knees, and hips the whole time… no standing or walking!
Kneepads, Outfits & Footwear
Wear what makes you feel most confident. Whether that’s keeping it comfy in activewear, or dressing to a theme with baggy rock tees, or lingerie.

Hi, I’m Jasmine! The founder of Minx Choreography and your dance teacher / hype girl / personal cheerleader for your group dance party.
I specialise in sensual, floor-based movement with a slinky, flowy movement style, shaped by my pole dancing background. Every routine is taught to lyrics to make it fun and easy to learn, with level-options so everyone in your group can feel confident, including absolute beginners!
Your group dance session isn’t about getting every move perfect – it’s about letting go, hyping each other up, and walking away feeling sexy, strong and totally empowered.

General Info
How does a private party differ from regular classes?
Your party is an exclusive session just for your group. You will get the entire studio to yourselves so you can let loose and celebrate your hen or birthday girl in style! Private party bookings also include a custom song request for the group routine.
While regular classes focus heavily on technical learning and individual filming for personal progress, private group bookings are entirely about connection, confidence, and having fun with your crew. You will have the opportunity to film your routine as an entire group together at the end!
Plus, every party guest will take home a special gift voucher as a little thank-you from the studio.
Can we bring our own props?
Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to bring your own costume props, veils, hats, or fun accessories that match your song theme.
Can we BYO food or alcohol?
No food or alcohol is permitted in the studio space.
Bringing a water bottle along is highly recommended! There is a water refill station on-site to keep you hydrated throughout the session.
Can we bring spectators or someone to take photos?
Non-participating spectators are generally not permitted, as the goal is to make everyone feel completely comfortable and involved in the activity!
If someone in your group is unable to take part in the floor-based choreography but would still like to attend to be part of the celebration, please get in touch before booking. Accommodations can often be made at a reduced per-head rate (subject to approval).
You will also have plenty of opportunities to take your own photos and group dance videos together at the end of the session!
Outfits & Footwear
Where do we buy kneepads?
Kneepads are always required for floorwork classes as you’ll be sitting, sliding and rolling on your knees!

What shoes are recommended for class?
Sensual choreography is designed for wearing heels, but you can always choose to dance without them!
If dancing barefoot, wearing socks is recommended so your feet can slide easily on the floor. If wearing shoes, enclosed styles are best, as choreography often involves sitting on the feet or sliding the toes.
If dancing in heels:
- Chunky ankle boots work great (or thigh highs!)
- Dance-branded heels like Heels For Queens, Vamp or Pleaser are a go-to if you already dance or plan to invest.
- AVOID straps around ankles – restricts movement and may feel unstable.
- AVOID open-lace heels – when sitting, laces can dig into your foot (try for a style where laces don’t directly touch skin).
What clothing is appropriate to wear?
Anything you feel hot and confident to move around in! This could be:
- Shirts or oversized tees
- Crop tops or dance bras
- Bikini tops or bodysuits
- Shorts, skorts, or cheeky bottoms
- Leggings or activewear
- Fishnet stockings

Where are the party bookings held?
Private group bookings are held exclusively at the Rochedale studio on Sunday afternoons (subject to venue availability).
The studio is located at: 224 Rochedale Road, Rochedale, QLD
Your booking confirmation email will contain full details on how to find the studio and where to go when you arrive.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, FREE parking is available on the surrounding grass area outside the dance hall.
Are there bathrooms or change rooms?
Yes, there are two bathrooms on site.
While there aren’t dedicated change rooms, the bathrooms can be used to get changed if needed.
Changes & Cancellations
Can we adjust our group numbers?
You can make changes to the number of guests attending up to 7 days before your party booking.
Please note the minimum spend is $430, regardless of your final group size.

Can we reschedule our party date?
You can request to reschedule your booking with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to venue availability.
Please get in touch as soon as possible to find a new date that works for you! Please note that rescheduling requests made with less than 14 days’ notice, or cancellations, may result in your deposit being forfeited.

What is the cancellation policy?
Your $90 deposit is strictly non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before your booking are eligible for a refund of any additional balance paid, minus the deposit.
Final payment is due 7 days before your booking. Cancellations made after this time (or no-shows) are entirely non-refundable, meaning you will forfeit the full amount paid.
